How to disinfect electronic devices at home
Do you know the viruses persisted on metal, plastic, and glass surfaces at room temperature for four to five days, and could persist for up to nine days depending on temperature and humidity ?
These days we spend most of our times with our phone, tablet or laptop. And these electronic devices attract a lot of germs. These germs can transmit disease making us or others sick. So it's crucial to disinfect our phones or laptops.
We can easily disinfect electronic devices at home with rubbing alcohol which can be found in local drugstores. But remember not to use alcohol too often as it can damage your phone's screen over time.
Here is a step by step method on how you can disinfect phone or laptop at home easily :
1. Unplug and turn off.
If your phone or laptop is plugged into a charger then unplug it and turn of that device completely. Don't keep it turned on while disinfecting, it can damage the internal parts of that device.

3. Make cleaning Solution
Solution 1: In a bowl of warm water mix 2-3 drops of dish soap or antibacterial soap (preferable) and combine it thoroughly.
Solution 2 : In a bowl take equal parts of rubbing alcohol and warm water and combine them thoroughly.
4. Take a microfiber cloth
Dampen a lint - free microfiber cloth in any of the above solutions and squeeze it tightly to remove all the excess liquid. Now with this cloth rub the surfaces, microphone, buttons, front and back side of your phone or laptop properly in circular motions. Be careful with the microphone, buttons, ports etc since water can get inside which will damage the internal electronics.5. Pat your device dry

1. Wash your hands often to stop transferring the germs to your phone or other device.2. Use hand sanitizers when you aren't able to wash your hands.
3. Avoid sneezing and coughing into your hands, use tissue instead.
