Organized lifestyle gives you a positive, more accomplished and more satisfied feeling.
But until done staying organized seems a huge stress of cleaning whole day. The truth is it's only your regular habits which can keep you as organized as you want. Read these 8 habits you can adopt to keep your life organized.
1. Make your bed
Making your bed is the first thing to an organised day. Seeing a neatly - made bed before you start your daily tasks gives you a positive start to the day.
2. Write your plans
Write down everything - To-do tasks, shopping list for groceries and other things, important dates like appointments, meetings and even birthdays etc. Plan your day by writing every tasks, keeping the priorities at the top. This will set your priorities for you and keep you focused.
3. Make schedules and deadlines
Every tasks doesn't need deadlines but there are some things which needs scheduled time and deadlines which will keep you productive while staying organized. And most importantly while you set schedules and deadlines stick to them.
4. Do one thing at a time
Stop hopping from this to that to that. It leaves everything messy in the end. Which will need another organizing time more than if you have finished one thing at a time.
5. Put everything in their place
Finishing one thing means completing the whole task including cleaning. Put everything - key, umbrella, bag, clothes, tools etc away immediately the moment you finish using it. Don't keep it for later to get messy again.
6. Declutter Regularly
Schedule a time of 10-15 minutes in a day to organise your stuffs. Though you finish all tasks, yet you may have things in your home that needs organization. Don't wait until weekend or so. Decluttering everyday just for 15 minutes will reduce much of your stress.
7. Use Recycling basket and donation basket
While decluttering make sure you use these two boxes. Less stuff means less clutter. So if you have items that you don't use now but may need someday throw them to the recycling basket and keep it in store room or away from regular area. And if you have stuffs that you don't use at all put them in the donation basket and give it to some donation center.
8. Avoid Procrastination
This habit is very important to maintain all of the above mentioned habits. If you keep procrastinating things, you can never live an organised life. Procrastination leads to lazy and unhealthy life.
If you keep these small habits in track everyday, you don't have to take the stress of organizing everything. You will be automatically organised in no time .
