How to feel positive and motivated every morning

Mornings are the best time of the day. Every morning we get a new opportunity to start the day much more productively than the day before. But sometimes it's hard to find motivation and positivity when we just don't want to get out of our beds.


This article explains few morning habits that can bring back your motivation and positivity right before you start your day.

1. Get enough sleep


It's important to get a proper sleep if you wanna wake up refreshed. You can't force yourself to stay  motivated when your body is completely tired. So go to bed at reasonable time and get a good night's sleep.

2. Get out of bed immediately


Don't stay lying on bed after you wake up. This small habit makes you feel lazy for the entire day. Whenever you wake up get out of your bed immediately without giving a second thought to your mind. Also try to wake up at the same time everyday.

3. Drink hot water


Your body becomes dehydrated after long hours of sleep. So it is very important that you drink a glass full of lukewarm water on an empty stomach. Also drinking hot water benefits your body in so many ways. For easy access you can keep a hot water flask near your bed the previous night.

4. Make your bed


Seeing a neatly made bed before you start your other tasks gives you a positive start of the day. If you able to finish this first task in the morning, you will feel much accomplished and hence much motivated for other works of your day.

5. Self talk


Self talk is very essential as it makes your mind believe what you say. Include positive affirmations and gratitude when you talk to yourself. In this way you can prepare your mind towards positivity.

6. Stretching


Moving your body helps to flow oxygen throughout your muscles and hence you feel more energetic. It also increases your ability to deal with stress. So include any kind of workouts in your morning routine.

7. Listen to music


Music has the ability to make you feel strong emotions. If you listen to any of the motivational songs in the morning, it will give you a postive vibe for the entire day. You can also listen to songs while you're doing other works such as making your bed or exercising.
