How to stay organized
Everyone wants to stay organized but it seems impossible when we have to do alot of things at the same time. The deadline of a project, daily tasks, the view of that messy desk and alot of unread mails - all this build up a pressure on our head.
But if we learn and practice the proper ways to do particular tasks, we will become organized in no time.
Here are some ways to stay organized -
Always make to-do list for the month, the week and the day. A task list is important if you wanna finish everything at time. Prepare these list in advance, before starting your day, week and month. Carry a planner or notebook everywhere you go to ensure you don't miss anything to note.
Make sure you rank your to-do tasks in order of importance. This will help you to complete the most important task even if you're unable to complete the entire list. Use various highlighters or stickers to draw attention to important tasks.
It is intimidating to complete one large task at a time and creates procrastination mode as well. So break down large tasks into small tasks and complete one at a time. In this way you will be able to finish the task on time without taking alot of stress.
Decluttering is very important when you are trying to stay organized. If you don't, your work load will increase and hence you will need more time to complete the tasks. So declutter everything - your closet, desk, drawers, e-mails etc once in a week.
Everyone loves to get reward and rewarding is as important as being productive. So treat yourself with small rewards after every task you complete. This will keep you motivated.
Remember you don't take the term ' staying organized ' as a pressure. Work on these points and these will make you organized and productive easily.
